Does the servo make a difference? If it does what is the optimal torque for the chassis?

Regarding motors, i made a flywheel dyno in 87, many years before they were sold, i told no one and tested many things, like reluctance vs rpm/torque, brush compounds/cuts/serated, spring tension, bushing/bearing oil, arm config, comm drops (and a hidden reservoir in the brush), to name some. I was cutting comm's long before it was the norm. Since i did not want to bring and show my lathe, i would prep 3 to 5 motors (1 for each run)

M chassis is my favorite too, we have four M-03 mini's between me and my brother that we race with our kids casually when we get together, great characteristics that scale down so well.

At 4:13 the double left, mark is a mile wide, easily losing about ~0.2 seconds in just them turns. You have to hit the marks (a few inches from the dots) consistently, for the whole run. Look at your lap times, and how consistent they are, they should be ~0.1 lap to lap (toss them into excel and plot them, your mistake will pop out at you). If you into improving your driving, My favorite book of all 30+ racing (setup/design/driving) books I have is: The soft science of road racing motorcycles, it teaches high speed thought, and it works, its about $5 used on ebay. A motorcycle you need to pay attention to 5 things during racing, cars is only 2, very easy to apply this book knowledge to rc cars (compared to racing motorcycles). My favorite is 12th scale (rc12lw) carpet on a tight track, 480 seconds and finish your lap, the good tracks we were doing more than 600 turns in a race, got to be consistent. I have 280+ A main wins, a handful nationals and 2nd at the worlds, I quit in 2004 and did PC sim (not arcade) online racing for 11 years.

The Tamopoly F1 was the largest rubbish in my 2+ decades racing (12th, 10th, sedan). The T-Bar even (level) with the chassis produced zero rear grip (competition wise), they had zero Idea of rear roll couple , the whole overpriced plastic pos was pure rubbish. Every mod I made to my F103 was banned at the Tamopoly track in California, why, it smoked the stock rubbish. After all the banning, you could only run their trash (including their sht tires) on their track, the Tamopoly name was born, they owned it. They only got good cars when they copied everyone else, pretty sad for a company that big with that kind of resources.

Well, as far as i'm into RC hobbyst since kid, my first rc is Singaporean Nikko rc, at that time, they are quite nice. As at that time Kyosho is too expensive for my parent salary. Kyosho came first to my country, even at that time Tamiya model already get in, but none of the seller or shop brought tamiya yet. I just got into Tamiya when i was at age early 30, worked as expatriate. Then my money enough to get into serious rc hobby. But why i am into Tamiya? It was simple answer, that time Tamiya RC very popular in country i worked for. It was difficult back then to search rc like Traxxas or Kyosho in that country. And if they are there, i don't think i would buy either. As Tamiya more fun to build 😂

It'll be more of a problem if you guys ever break up and you're left with half your rc's that she didn't contribute to meanwhile nagging you about every single one! Don't make her any false promises cause if she truly loves you, she'd love you have a hobby you're so passionate about.

Nice donation to the channel. Many people probably have boxes of old RC stuff lying around that they are unsure what to do with. Hopefully we could have an RC Auto Jumble at the Popalong GP for us all to buy sell or swap I'm sure that some of the stuff I have knocking about might be useful to someone rather than taking up space doing nothing with me

Well technically you are downsizing. An M-Series chassis is smaller. And all those cars came to the house in one box. Usually you only get one car per box. Think of all the space you saved!

I think when you said you were downsizing, you meant you were decreasing your desire to increase in your collection, like the government saying they're going to cut spending by decreasing the planned increase. ❤🧡💛🤍 Limit yourself to one racer for each class? Limit yourself to one class with lots of racers? Occasionally, make two racers, but leave one with the club sponsoring the race? Use it or Lose it? I hope you find a solution that works for you and your family

Wow what a amazing gift, and doing a club car is a great thing to do 😊. I bought a Mo7 concept yesterday and running gear for a second hand team associated rb10 b6. My pockets are empty but I'm over joyed 😂. Your wife maybe a little miffed,but what you guys do for the hobby is amazing. My friend died recently and talking to the guys at my club brought up men's mental health and how the hobby is such great thing for that. Thanks again for everything you do ❤

Some racing should be made to scale in terms of speed and acceleration. A combination of added ballast (or heavy chassis) and reduced power might best produce an accurate effect.

Haha, bitten by the bug!! To be honest, I'd love an F1 car, being an F1 fan from when I was a wee lad, but I've got nowhere to run it locally so I can't really justify it. I can't wait for some F1 content soon!!
